The independent historic environment specialists for the South West
Our commitment is to provide impartial, high-quality, timely, cost-effective and professional archaeology and heritage services to meet and surpass our clients’ expectations and help your project succeed.
About Us
AC Archaeology and Heritage Ltd is one of the longest-running, privately-owned and independent historic environment companies in the UK and has been providing heritage advice and site-based fieldwork services across the South West, West Country and further afield since 1991. Based in Bradninch near Exeter, Devon, our team of highly-experienced heritage and archaeological professionals carry out more than 200 projects each year and are primarily focused on the delivery of client-based services relating to development through the planning system, from initial built heritage, historic building and archaeological advice at the outset of a project, through to delivery of high-quality final reports prepared by our in-house team of specialists.
Our client base includes small and large-scale developers, private individuals, utility companies, government agencies, community groups and local authorities. Projects we do include small house extensions, pipelines, landscape studies, historic buildings, solar farms, business parks and large-scale housing developments. Whatever the size of the project we are committed to providing expert, pragmatic and cost-effective advice tailored to meet individual client needs.
Our People
It is the dedication and expertise of our exceptional and talented people that allow us to deliver high quality advice and services to our clients to ensure their projects are successful. We are constantly striving to improve our knowledge and skills further by encouraging innovation and training within our team, thus also helping them develop a long, rewarding and successful career in a profession we all have a passion for.
