Charlotte has worked in commercial archaeology since 2006 and joined AC Archaeology in 2014. As Senior Finds and Archives Officer, she plays a central role in the analysis, interpretation, and long-term care of archaeological material. Her specialist expertise lies in the study of human and animal bone, funerary archaeology, clay pipes, and glass, and she has contributed to numerous publications and grey literature reports in these fields. Charlotte also oversees all aspects of AC Archaeology’s archiving process. In addition to this Charlotte is passionate about community archaeology and public engagement. She regularly delivers talks and presentations to local history groups and schools, and actively participates in open days and outreach events, sharing archaeological discoveries and encouraging wider involvement with heritage. Charlotte holds a BSc in Archaeology and an MSc in Osteoarchaeology from Bournemouth University and is a full member (MCIfA) of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.

 Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, playing badminton, and gardening.
