Leon has been working in for AC Archaeology and Heritage since 2016, with experience in preparing a variety of material for reports, publication and public outreach projects. This includes the planning of pre-excavation documents such as Written Schemes of Investigations (WSIs), Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), as well the preparation of post-excavation drawings from archaeological watching briefs, evaluations, excavations, and historic building recording.

Part of Leon's role also consists of the preparation of graphics ​for archaeological publication, which further includes the practice of finds illustration, photo-editing and compositing, and map design. Some of the personal highlights of his career thus far have included the illustration of a Roman mosaic, and the recording of a medieval fresco.

Outside of work, Leon is a keen folk musician and is involved in a variety of community music and art projects.
