Naomi has worked professionally with archaeological finds for 20 years, starting out as a metalwork and small finds specialist and gaining significant experience of both artefacts and outreach as a Finds Liaison Officer. She has since expanded her skillset to encompass Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery and brick/tile, as well as having an excellent working knowledge of lithics, worked stone, fired clay objects and other miscellaneous categories of finds, regularly assessing these and providing recommendations for analysis and publication. Naomi has written hundreds of grey literature and publication reports on multi-period finds from excavations in the region. She is a Research Associate in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Exeter and regularly gives conference papers and talks to a variety of audiences.

When not at work Naomi enjoys live music, running, photography and occasional crafting.
